Product Introduction

CR-40S is a waterborne latent curing agent that can coexist stably for a long time with resins containing active groups (hydroxyl, carboxyl, amino, epoxy, etc.) at room temperature. After heat treatment at 110–120 °C, the released -NCO groups react with hydroxyl, carboxyl, amino and other groups to form crosslinks. It can significantly improve the color stability, adhesion, bonding fastness and cooking resistance of polyurethane, polyester, alkyd and acrylic resins, with excellent hand feel and yellowing resistance.

Applications

  1. Used as an internal crosslinker for one-component heat-curable waterborne coatings to significantly improve water resistance, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, adhesion and mechanical properties of waterborne resin films.
  2. Used as an additive for three-proof emulsions to fix organic fluorine/silicone on cotton or polyester fibers and increase washing resistance of three-proof fabrics.
  3. Used as an internal crosslinker for textile coatings and printing adhesives to enhance adhesion, washing resistance, abrasion resistance and color stability.
  4. Used as an internal crosslinker for one-component metal baking finishes, replacing amino resins to reduce brittleness, formaldehyde-free and excellent yellowing resistance.
  5. Used as a treatment agent for polyester or polyester cord fabric to improve adhesion between polyester and rubber.

Storage

  1. Store in the original sealed container.
  2. Recommended storage temperature: 6–28 °C.
  3. Avoid direct sunlight and contamination by other substances.
